Glossary of religious terms
Adherents: Followers of a given Religion, Spiritual Philosophy or Cult.
Atheism: The disbelief or denial in the existance of God(s).
Deity: A supernatural being recognised as controlling some facette of the universe, life or who is the personification of a force.
Dharma: The universal principal of righteousness or duty. The path of Dharma is followed to progress spiritually and eventually attain oneness with God.
Monotheism: The belief in one universal God.
Monotheistic Polytheism: The belief that “God is one as well as many.”
